Virtual Heroes to Attend IMSH 2019
The Virtual Heroes Division of ARA will be attending the IMSH healthcare-simulation conference from January 26 to January 30, 2019. Come talk to Senior Producer Marcia Clover about our exciting new medical simulation projects:
- Through our contract with the Army Research Laboratory, we’re building a virtual trainer to help medics treat serious burn injuries. The Burn Computer Application for Research and Education (BurnCARE) serious game for mobile devices will address the full course of treatment, from evaluation of injuries to longer-term hospital care.
- We were just awarded a contract to develop a Prolonged Field Care training platform. This platform will provide high-fidelity, physiologically accurate training for medics for treatment in the field that extends beyond initial trauma care.
IMSH will be held at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. Email Marcia to set up a meeting with her at the show. We hope to see you there!
